So you've wondered on Google+ and you happen to be interested in the atheism? Brace yourself because the Google+ Multiverse is coming...
Atheists are probably the most diverse group out there that is somehow connected with widely understood religion. We happen to share one conclusion - that the present evidence is not sufficient to warrant a belief in a (personal/) deity. Everything other might be different - and in fact - usually is.
We come from all sorts of backgrounds, we have all sorts of different personal stories, we happen to be concerned about all sorts of various cases. Religion infiltrates all segments of life. Due to that atheism is forced to deal with all sorts of outcomes of how religion plays out in a real world.
It is therefore no surprise that Google Plus offers a multitude of different atheist communities, one of which should satisfy even the most sublime tastes.
This is an attempt to summarize and present the Google+ Atheist Sphereverse - a collection of platforms of atheistic thought exchange. Please enjoy and we hope you'll find something to suit your needs and/or desires.
There are public communities that are strictly atheistic in that they don't allow any religious proselytizing/debates, there are public communities that encourage you to engage in a debate.
There are communities devoted to funny images, music, games, etc - all looking at their respective field of interest through the lens of godlessness. There are local communities concerning one city or university, there are also global ones.
There are communities for various demographics - genderqueer atheists, teens, black atheists, ex-muslims, etc.
There are communities that are private and you need to ask them to let you in, there are some that are freely available.
There are strictly atheistic ones as well as free-thought, humanist, agnostic ones, etc.
In this Sphereverse there surely is an atheistic group that will share your interest and, conversely, there is one that will oppose your opinions and beliefs about various things. The one thing they all have in common - they lack belief in a god.
In this list we also present the one that is openly anty-atheistic. You might want to get to know arguments of the other side (as if you didn't know that already)...

atheist can be lonely, especially in high school. This community is
designed to allow teens to get support from one another.
High
school is hard enough without being an atheist in a highly religious
world. Once people find out you're an atheist, they look at you
differently and ask you a lot of stupid questions. They treat you
differently. I come from a very small town where I may well have been
the only atheist. So I have had this exact experience. It is lonely to
be an atheist most of the time. I was not bullied, but I know that many
kids are simply because they don't believe in God. You can even lose
friends once they find out you're atheist.
This community is meant to be a place where atheist teens can seek help or guidance from others who have been through the same thing. I'm 21 years old now, but my experiences in high school left me wanting to be able to reach out to those who are still in that situation. This is not a place to talk badly about religion or religious people. There are other communities for that. Please only use this page to share your stories and give and get help.

I have run into serious problems with christian libertarians and
statist atheists. I wanted to offer a place for people reject both the
gods of religion and of state. Welcome.

The confrontations and fighting today provide ample evidence of the unstable nature of societies, which endorse religious beliefs.
Infantile concepts seriously hinder the full potential development of humans in a world with problems that require logical thought.
Atheists find their motive for action in the needs and problems of their fellow citizens and consider that the worship of, or reliance on, imaginary supernatural beings to be a useless waste of time, energy and resources.
The Foundation is dependent on a small committee which meets monthly and is open to all members. We maintain a cordial relationship with similar organisations within Australia and overseas and with whom we exchange our magazine, The Australian Atheist.

Blowing Through the Smoke to Discover Truth
This community exists in order to facilitate LIVE (emphasis on
live) debates and discussions usually on Google Plus Hangouts but
conceivably on TinyChat or Skype as well. It is centered on one of the
most prolific, overarching, and controversial topics of human history,
the existence or non-existence of a theistic God but is not limited to
that subject.
The Bait page is set up for light banter between theists and atheists, good natured ribbings to spark antagonism among members and whip up disagreements which -if all goes to plan- should lead to some decent debates. I believe the other pages are self-explanatory.
Live debates/discussions are to be civil, intellectually honest, and charitable to your opponent(s). This does not mean opponents need to be overtly kind, apologize for offense, or avoid offense. Respect of other's ideas is not required, but respect for their right to express their beliefs and ideas is certainly required. I am working on selecting moderators for the Community that would serve as fair debate moderators if you care to have a formalized debate, though you can use any moderator for a live debate, or no moderator.
The only necessary qualification to join and remain in the community is to be fair, charitable, honest, and value the efficacy of live debate over textual online comment squabbling. This means that if it comes to the attention to the moderators and is decided by a simple majority vote by said mods that you have violated these conditions, you may be warned or removed from the community without warning depending on the severity of the violation.

I am working on selecting moderators for the Community that would serve as fair debate moderators if you care to have a formalized debate, though you can use any moderator for a live debate, or no moderator.
The only necessary qualification to join and remain in the community is to be fair, charitable, honest, and value the efficacy of live debate over textual online comment squabbling. This means that if it comes to the attention to the moderators and is decided by a simple majority vote by said mods that you have violated these conditions, you may be warned or removed from the community without warning depending on the severity of the violation.

Aided by recent bestsellers written by C Hitchens and R Dawkins atheism is seeing a rise and rise. Parallel to that we see community of atheists in Google+. We also see communities dedicated to several religions here.
Cherishing pluralism and post modernism, we, however, see beauty in the world with many views - like different type of flowers. We therefore give importance to both atheism as well as theism. And in the latter, we welcome discussion about Christianity, Islam, Judaism and Hinduism - the four major religions. We also welcome other faith groups like Wiccan, Scientology etc
We invite atheists, people with different faiths and those who believe in what we believe in - a pluralistic beautiful world that believes in the accommodation of many views - to join the group and present their cases. It is free for now. invite people to discuss

No question is dumb when it comes to doing what's right
Basic Rules:
1.) No Baseless Ridicule - This means, if you don't have a good reason to reject someone else's ethical position, don't waste everyone's time to berate their opinion.
2.) No Religion - There is a debates community specifically for this type of fun. It's okay to talk about the decisions made by religious people, and the ethical concerns that follow, but discussion about any single religion or lack thereof is strictly off limits. (e.g. Displaying the 10 commandments in a government building is unethical - this is okay to discuss. Pastafarianism is an unethical practice - this is NOT okay.)
3.) No Monologuing - Please, PLEASE, don't monologue in other’s posts. This is not a place to "hear yourself talk" or to practice delivery of your PhD dissertation. There's no limit for posts of your own, but responses should be limited to 1600 characters (with spaces and line-breaks) or less. This is about half a page with 12pt font in a Word document. You can provide a link to a blog or other site if it exceeds the limit. If you can't do a character-count, use this section as a guideline. If your response exceeds the size of this exactly 1600 character-long community description, it is likely too long.

What's happening in Turkey?
Millions of Turkish citizens have been outraged by the violent reaction of their government to a peaceful protest aimed at saving Istanbul's Gezi Park. Outraged, yet not surprised.
Over the course of Prime Minister Erdoğan's ten-year term, we have witnessed a steady erosion of our rights and freedoms. Arrests of numerous journalists, artists, elected officials, high ranking soldiers; restrictions on freedom of speech, women's rights, and even alcohol sales have all demonstrated that the ruling party is not serious about democracy. Time and again, the Prime Minister has mocked and trivialized his nation's concerns while Turkey's own media has remained shamefully silent.
The People protesting bravely throughout Turkey are the proud inheritors of Atatürk's legacy. We are not looters or extremists. We are students, teachers, workers, mothers, fathers. We represent various ethnicities and creeds, religions and ideologies.
We stand united now because of our concern for Turkey's future.
We demand and end to police brutality.
We demand a free and unbiased media.
We demand an open dialogue, not the dictate of an autocrat.

Atheists, they are the lesser minds. They're overconfident about
science. For them, the world is a laboratory. Their heads digest only
scientific facts and a pity that they are proud of it like peacocks.
They're ignorant to the fact that science is too contemporary. They're
ignorant about the limits of humans, a puny little hydrocarbon form
life. They believe that their heads, which's not bigger than a little
coconut, is all powerful, all mighty, all knowing, all intelligent, all
everything. They think human imagination is infinite. They're just too
confident about their brains. They're blind to their limitations. They
don't take anything for granted. They verify everything with their
little heads. Pity that they're still proud of it. They taunt and taunt
the believers their whole life.

what really frustrated me is that I didn't complete my even though,
